FAQ COVID 19 - Vaccination
To minimise the risk of COVID‑19 to our community, Orange College is making COVID‑19 vaccinations a requirement for anyone attending our campuses.
We believe that the health, safety and wellbeing of our community is of the utmost importance. A campus with fully vaccinated students and staff will reduce transmission, minimise the severity of infections and reduce the likelihood of admission to hospital.
Please go through the FAQ and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Effective Friday 5 November 2021, all students who attend an Orange campus must be fully vaccinated. Students will need to provide evidence of their double vaccination to Orange College to attend campus.
Double vaccination is required for all students attending campus as per the changes announced by the Victorian Government to Victoria’s Roadmap (delivering the National Plan).
Please note that Victorian Government directives are subject to change. Orange College will continue to monitor and update you on any future changes to vaccination requirements.
Current students must show evidence of their COVID vaccination certificate or medical exemption every time they enter the campus.
Students who are not fully vaccinated by 5th November but intend to become double vaccinated will only have the option of continuing their studies online until 26th November.
After 26th November, students who have chosen not to provide Orange College their vaccination status or medical exemption can apply for Deferment, Suspension and Cancellation.
Yes. The requirement to be fully vaccinated in order to attend any meeting/event at the campus applies to everyone from Monday 5th November.
