Support Services

The following support services are to be available and accessible for all students studying with Orange International College. The RTO will provide students with contact details to refer any matters that require further follow-up with relevant professionals.

Students may have concerns with their attendance, academic performance or other related issues that are placing them at risk of not achieving the requirements of their course. All students’ progress is monitored and guidance and support provided where non satisfactory results are identified. A student is able to access the student support officer to discuss any academic, or other related issues to studying with Orange International College at any time. The student support officer will be able to provide advice and guidance, or referral, where required

Personal/social issues

There are many issues that may affect a student’s social or personal life, and some students may require gaining advice and guidance on personal issues. A counselling service can be suggested if applicable

If a student has been identified as having issues around language, literacy and or numeracy by the course trainer they will be referred to a third party for support and guidance.

Academic issues

Any student is able to access the student support officer to discuss any academic, or other related issues to studying with Orange International College at any time. Where internal support is exhausted and it is determined that the student would benefit from external support the Student Support Officer and the student shall investigate further options such as tutoring to assist the student.

Orange International College is not involved in any employment arrangements that students may have and is unable to provide any advice or guidance to students about employment conditions or issues.
