As per our scheduled excursions, our students went on a trip to 1000 Steps, one of Victoria’s most beautiful and popular spots for fitness enthusiasts.
1000 Steps is a 3km trek starting at foothills of the Dandenong Ranges National Park. Our lovely students had a quick snack in the morning, and then headed up along the Kokoda Track, named in honour of the Aussie soldiers who gave their lives on the real Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea, during World War II.
After the long and exhausting trek, students came back to the foothills, where there is a BBQ area, and had a great Aussie barbie (not the doll). Some students played soccer and footy under the sun, and others tested their abilities at Jenga and Domino. Just another day under the Aussie sun.
Hint: It’s more than 1000 steps, we counted them.
