We would like to inform you that from 1st of July 2019, Orange International College is implementing a new direct debit system for receiving payment from our existing and new students. Under this system, all the existing and new students will be required to set up direct debit payments with Orange International College. This new Direct Debit System is implemented to streamline the payment process. Here are some of the Frequently Asked Questions on the implementation of this system.
Why is Direct Debit system implemented?
With our current system we face many challenges in receiving payments from the students, to name a few of them would be:
Students failing to pay on-time and incurring late fees
Time-consuming for our accounts department
Students paying their fees without writing correct reference hence fees not recorded against their account. This causes unnecessary issues for students, agents and Orange International College
A win-win situation:
Introduction of this system will be a win-win situation for Students, Agents and Orange.
Students will not have to bother about paying their fees on time as fees will be deducted from their account automatically. This means that they will not be charged late fees if fees are successfully debited from their account.
Agents will receive a better commission as overall monthly student fees collection will improve. It means that more cash for your business.
Orange will save time on following up with students to pay their fees within due date and following up with students who missed to pay by the due date.
How Direct debit option will work for existing students?
We will guide every student on how to set up a direct debit system. Complete information will be provided to the students.
What if a student does not want to opt for direct debit?
It is mandatory for all the existing and new students to opt for the direct debit payment option.
What will be processed for commission payment for the initial deposits of new students?
For new students you can deduct the commission and pay us the net amount, however, for the monthly installments, the students need to opt for the direct debit system.
How my commission is paid?
As our monthly practice, we will send you the commission reports each month and you can then send us the invoice to claim the commission for the fees paid by your students.
